This fitness management course is great for… anyone working within a leisure facility needing a working knowledge of group fitness timetabling, running group fitness as a profit centre within a club, or how to effectively manage instructor staff.
With this fitness course I can… operate more effectively work as a group fitness manager or studio co-ordinator. I’ll be better at determining cost per head for members and improving the retention of my group fitness timetable within my club. I’ll also develop feedback and assessment skills to better help me maintain standards of my instructor team.
During this fitness course I’ll learn about… determining cost per head, class figure reporting, the traffic light system for classes, secondary spend through group fitness and basic use of the DISC system for personality profiling amongst other things.
I’ll study this fitness course… online or as a face-to-face one-day training module. Scheduled dates are carried on throughout the year, or you can start the online option at any time. Both options include your training manual via download.
I will have access to… the studio fx manual and telephone helpdesk. The live classroom option also has a presenter deliver the material and set practical exercises to improve knowledge of the subject areas dealt with in the course.
The fitness qualification I gain… is a CPD Certificate certifying the instructor with 8 CPDs through REPs. These will count to an instructors ongoing certification through REPs and allow the instructor to teach the programmes in any fitness facility or in the community.
