Welcome to blast fx™

Evolution becomes revolution with blast fx™. Transform outdated, one-dimensional body conditioning exercises into dynamic, tri-planar movement. A buff bevy of beats provide the backdrop to the workout where you choose the format; equipment or bodyweight-only.

blast fx™ Programme Overview

From v10.2 onwards, blast fx™ features two different workout formats in the one release; one focused on bodyweight-only routines and the other on small equipment-based choreography.

The foundation format of blast fx™ is focused on bodyweight-only exercises with the emphasis on intensity. This multi-peak workout features a series of low and high intensity athletic tracks as well as power, agility, balance and core sessions. No equipment is necessary making it perfect for those instructors or venues without access to equipment.

blast fx™ + (blast fx™ plus) is the alternative format for those who want to explore dynamic conditioning with the use of equipment. We’ve created alternative equipment-based routines to those songs marked with an *; thereby creating a cardio workout with the added dimension only equipment can provide. These routines are provided as optional extras for you to download.

So, you can now choose between two different versions of choreography for the majority of tracks - with equipment or without - depending on your environment and participants; you choose blast fx™ for participants who want to work out hard to basic choreography without equipment, and blast fx™ + for those who want the challenge of an equipment-based class.

That’s two workout formats for the price of one.

All fitness fx™ programmes incorporate a concept we created called pro-choreography. Short for “progressive choreography”, it allows you to adapt and modify the blast fx™ choreography if you want to and in doing so, you’re able to utilise the teaching skills learnt during your Exercise to music or gym qualification. This approach lies in stark contrast to traditional pre-choreography which insists you just follow the notes, video or “script”; the outcome of which is the slow but steady demise of your teaching skills.

The choice is yours; teach any blast fx™ or blast fx™ + routine move-for-move as it appears in the video or change it to suit your own personal style or level of your class. It’s up to you.

All releases after and including blast fx™ v10.2 feature a continuous mix workout - the music doesn’t stop and neither do we. It’s designed to keep the class fluid, the energy high and target the cardiovascular system, leading to maximum fitness gains and fat loss. By working hard in each track and reducing the rest period between them, the blast fx™ workout moves you into the higher realms of aerobic training. Research has shown this type of training not only burns calories during the workout but for several hours afterwards.
